I really do love taking photos & creating beautiful imagery with my cameras so in many ways I have the best job - for me. My photography journey started when I was young, like really young, & I got to shoot with a lot of film as well as developing those into prints in the darkroom we had when I was growing up, that darkroom smell will never leave my nose. I've always taken photos but only really considered moving to full time in 2013 after I left my big corporate job. Despite how great that role was it was not quite what I wanted to do, photography always called to me, so here I am.

I also spent 6 years as an Ambassador for Fujifilm, whos cameras I still use as they cover my needs so well, what a great time it was testing and feeding back on preproduction cameras and lenses as well as software, great people to be working with. I'm also am an Alpha/Beta tester for photography software developer Capture One testing & giving feedback on their editing apps and how I see it can improve from the point of view of a working professional photographer.

Other than Photography I teach Aikido in our Dojo based in Dublins Harolds X, I'm a fully qualified sports coach with Sports Ireland. Like photography martial arts have been in my life since I was young. Aikido is a wonderful practice that teaches you to look for the conflict in any situation and defuse it, it's been a great tool to always have at my side. I represent Aikido in Ireland at the Irish Martial Arts Commission who regulate for all martial arts through our Sport Ireland and Government.

I'm also a Dad to two wonderful kids and partner to a patient Wife, as much free time as I can muster is spend with them.
